In Tuesday’s webinar, Ricardo answered this question, exploring the role of homework and providing useful insights and tips on how teachers can use homework effectively to help get the most out of their students.
Whilst in an ideal world students would complete all the homework that they are assigned, consolidating and expanding upon what they learn in class, this is very rarely the case, for a number of reasons. Ricardo discusses how teachers can ensure that the homework set is meaningful and effective, by making use of a range of tools which are available, and, in particular, digital and online resources.
Digital tools can provide valuable information which enables students to prepare for class, allow teachers and students to communicate during the homework practice, and give a clear framework in order to personalise assignments, as well as a whole host of other advantages.
