A celebration of books – World Book Day competition

Ahead of World Book Day on 1st March, we would like to give you the opportunity to win one of our prestigious Cambridge Handbooks for Language Teachers titles.

We have over 50 books in the series, with the publication of the latest title, Teaching and Developing Reading Skills, tomorrow!
Previous Series Editors Michael Swan and Penny Ur were involved in the development of a number of classic titles which you will probably know, including: Games for Language LearningGrammar Practice ActivitiesKeep TalkingLearner English and Five-minute Activities to name but a few.

Current Series Editor Scott Thornbury has continued to ensure the quality of the books and a number of recent titles, published under his editorship, have won awards including the Ben Warren prize, Society of Authors award, and the English Speaking Union Duke of Edinburgh award. These books include: Classroom Management TechniquesLanguage Learning with TechnologyTranslation and Own-language Activities and Language Learning with Digital Video.

How to enter

Do you have a favourite Cambridge Handbooks for Language Teachers title?
Tell us which one, and why (in up to 100 words) and you could win a title of your choice from the series. Post your answer on one of the competition social media posts on our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages.  The three lucky winners will be announced on 28th February.
