It’s December and the festive season is nearly upon us around the world and we feel that at this time of year we like to take time to reflect on the year just gone by and also to look ahead to the future.
In 2018 we have seen the continued impact teachers are having on the lives of learners and it’s something we are immensely proud to be part of, helping those we work with wherever they are. In our World Teacher Survey we’ve listened and know you still love being teachers and would recommend it as a profession to your children. In the search for presenters of our new YouTube channel, we heard first hand that you have a deep passion in wanting to help your learners achieve their goals and how important that is to you. Every year we work with teachers, students and institutions around the world to build brighter futures for them and their communities but we can only do so much. This year we need your help to create a brighter future where you are.
How can you get involved?
Whether it’s thinking about how you can help your students to achieve their goals and dreams, or make an impact in your local community with volunteering or charity work, tell us what you’ll do to make a difference to the world around you and how you’ll change your world for the better.
In 140 characters share your pledge with teachers around the world and show that no matter how small you think your world may be, what you do makes an impact on the lives of those around you. We will be taking your pledges and adding them to our online Cambridge festive card to be launched later this month, so check back to see your message to the world!
