2018 has been a big year for us here on the World of Better Learning. We have created posts on everything from how to celebrate the Royal Wedding in style to sharing what being a teacher means to you in our World Teacher Survey.
Looking back at everything we’ve achieved in 2018 I am overwhelmed by the response our articles have received. I am pleased you have had as much fun reading our articles as we had creating them. With hundreds of articles published this year, there are a lot to choose from, here are my favourite 5 articles from 2018.

I attended my first IATEFL in 2018 so our IATEFL talksare really special to me. Laura Patsko and Ben Goldstein’s talk on the importance of near-peer role models in the classroom was a big hit in Brighton. Cambridge Story Competition: Winners Announced by Sarah Lahiff
Early in 2018 we launched the Cambridge Story Competition, asking children all over the world to write and illustrate a short story. We received an overwhelming response with hundreds of stories submitted from across the globe. Host your own British Party with your young learners! by Lauren Ward
2018 has seen not 1, but 2 royal weddings in the United Kingdom. We created our own guide to hosting your own British Party to join in the wedding celebrations. We shared some of our favourite music and our fun ‘What could it be?’ video guessing game to get everyone in the party spirit. As well as this we created a downloadable British Party Pack full of bunting and party hats to help everyone celebrate in style!
