Following our Better Learning Conference 2019, we’re sharing a talk recording from Lenise Butler. Lenise is the Manager for Global Campus-Based operations at Laureate International Universities, supporting implementation of language programs, working with pedagogy, training and quality assurance.
Lenise spoke at our Cambridge conference in July about how we can integrate technology into our institutions and classrooms. She looks specifically about how we can prepare for change, how we can implement it, and finally, how we can make that change sustainable with our programs for the long term.
One of the barriers to including technology may be that we don’t have buy-in from all stakeholders and aren’t able to communicate effectively the impact that technology can have in the classroom. So, Lenise shares a roadmap for how we can make decisions surrounding technology, looking specifically at:
1. Preparing for change
2. Implementing change
3. Creating sustainable practice
The roadmap looks at how to work with best practice to ensure long-term success in our leadership with change management, to ensure students are receiving the educational tools that will help prepare them for the use of language in this technical world.
