Spotlight on Niall Curry

Dr Niall Curry is Senior Lecturer in TESOL and Applied Linguistics at Manchester Metropolitan University, specialising in corpus and applied linguistics, contrastive linguistics, academic and scientific communication in English, French, and Spanish, discourse analysis, and TESOL. He has published monographs, book chapters, and articles in field leading journals, including International Journal of Corpus Linguistics, Corpora, and English Language and Linguistics. He has been PI and Co-I on a number of projects, funded by the UKRI and the Cambridge Funded Research Programme and he is Co-Editor of Routledge Applied Corpus Linguistics and Routledge Corpus Linguistics Guides book series, Managing Editor of the Journal of Academic Writing, Section Editor of the Elsevier Encyclopaedia of Language and Linguistics, and a Géras International Correspondent.
